Yesterday I tapered the ends of HS-81-1 and HS-814-1 reinforcement angles.  It took a while, but I first ground them down, then took the scotchbrite wheel to them for the finer details and getting that 1/4" radius.  The bending process the pretty easy.  I used a cardboard template for the 6 degrees, and placed them one at a time in the vise between a couple 2X4's.  There was no mallet needed as I just pushed them by hand.  Voila!  Not so bad

Today I bent the HS-702 tabs between 2X4's aswell.  I found the handseamer wouldnt quite work in this situation.  After sitter there thinking, why the hell can't I figure out why the reinforcement platees are not seating nicely with the spar tabs....... OOPS! I bent them the wrong way! ... First mistake and luckly is wasn't a bad one.  I simply straightened the tab out and bent it at the appropriate angle the correct way.  Build on!

I dimpled and countersunk the required flush rivet positions on the front spar and reinforcement angles.  I notched out the nose ribs using snips, scotchbrite wheel,, and files.  I also prepped the ribs and fluted the flanges.

I'm leaving some deburring and tight places on the entire structure until I get some smaller files and I'm ready to dissassemble for priming, if I'm going that route.
