The gliders shown below are being offered for rent by their owners. The contest organizers are not involved in the rental process and it is up to the owner of the glider and renter to negotiate terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
Insurance for most gliders in Canada is issued as part of a group policy for the Soaring Association of Canada (SAC). In order to be insured on these gliders, the pilot must be a member of a Canadian club and a member of the Soaring Association of Canada. All pilots will also need a "check flight with a Canadian Instructor". Check flights will be available at SOSA Gliding Club at member rates. Membership fees in a club and SAC should be less than $100.
